Level 5 Award in Management and Leadership
The level 5 award is an introduction to management and leadership for middle managers. It contains a single unit of study and equips learners with an in-depth understanding of the theoretical and practical approaches to leading and managing teams effectively. Managers will identify the techniques used to monitor and manage individual and team performance, assess current and future capabilities and adopt approaches to respond to these.
Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership
The certificate course broadens the scope of study, and contains three units. Learners will complete three assignments to gain the qualification. The course equips learners with the knowledge and skills to lead and manage diverse teams to excel. Managers will identify the techniques used to monitor and manage individual and team performance, assess current and future capabilities, learn key skills to bring out the best in their team, and adopt approaches to manage equality, diversity and inclusion
Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership
The diploma course contains eight units and gives a comprehensive understanding of managing and leading at departmental level. The course equips learners with the knowledge and skills to lead and manage resilient teams in the modern, ever-changing marketplace. Leaders will learn how to plan and develop their diverse workforce, manage conflict, anticipate change and innovate to thrive under pressure. The outcome of the course is a resilient leader, able to lead their team with confidence through uncertain times.
Level 5 Certificate in Police Management
The level 5 Police Management course has been designed specifically for middle-level leaders in police forces. Designed by our expert team of former police and military officers, the course provides underpinning knowledge and real practical strategies for managing policing. Covering areas such as managing investigations, leadership, supervising teams, managing and leading incidents and operations, the identification and management of threat, risk and harm to individuals and communities. Learners will complete six assignments to gain the qualification, always with coaching support from our expert tutors.
